Türkiye's Narkoçelik-37: Hundreds of suspects nabbed in nationwide drug ops VIDEO
Operation Narkoçelik-37, a major anti-drug trafficking initiative, has seen significant results across Türkiye.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced on social media platform X that the extensive operation spanned 42 provinces and yielded impressive results in the battle against narcotics, Caliber.Az reports.

During the operation, Turkish law enforcement agencies confiscated a total of 479 kilograms of various narcotic substances. In addition, authorities seized 160,967 psychotropic pills, highlighting the scale of the operation's success. The crackdown led to the detention of 227 individuals suspected of involvement in drug trafficking.
Türkiye, a key transit point for illegal drugs en route to European markets, has intensified its efforts against drug smuggling since 2023. This operation underscores the country’s commitment to combating drug trafficking and dismantling smuggling networks.
