Turkiye significantly increases steel exports to Azerbaijan

Turkiye in January - April 2022 increased steel exports to Azerbaijan by 21.9 percent compared to the same period last year - up to $37.9 million.

According to Trend, this was reported to Turkic World by the Turkish Ministry of Trade.

According to the ministry, Turkiye in April 2022 increased steel exports to Azerbaijan by 31.5 percent compared to the same month in 2021 - up to $9.2 billion.

It should be noted that in January - April 2022, Türkiye increased steel exports to world markets by 42.3 percent compared to the same period last year - up to $7.7 billion.

In April 2022, Turkiye increased steel exports by 23.9 percent compared to the same month in 2021 - up to two billion dollars.

According to the ministry, within the last 12 months (April 2021-April 2022), Turkiye exported $24.6 billion worth of steel.
