Türkiye traffic accidents claim lives of nine people 1,047 injured

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has said that nine people were killed and 1,047 were injured in 651 road accidents on the first day of the Ramadan holiday in Türkiye.

"Unfortunately, nine of our citizens were killed in a traffic accident on the first day of the holiday. 1,047 people were injured," the minister in a social media post, according to Report.

Yerlikaya emphasized that the statistics cover only April 6.
