Aeroflot to launch direct St. Petersburg-Baku flights

Starting on February 17, Russian Aeroflot Airlines will start operating direct flights between St. Petersburg and Baku. The flights will be launched as part of the expansion of the international flight program from St. Petersburg, bypassing Moscow.

“Aeroflot launches its own regular flights from St. Petersburg to Baku on Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Thanks to the expansion of the international flight program from St. Petersburg, the residents of the region will have new opportunities for non-stop travel without a stop in Moscow,” the company's press service said, according to TASS.

Flights from Pulkovo Airport to the Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku will be operated twice a week - on Tuesdays and Fridays. Tickets are already on sale.
