Azerbaijan sets up x-ray luggage scanners at Lachin checkpoint PHOTO

Azerbaijan has delivered and installed a US-made luggage scanning machine at the Lachin border checkpoint on the conditional border with Armenia.

The scanning machine, named Smiths Detection, is equipped with a conveyor belt and ensures the detection of explosive substances, Caliber.Az reports.

This system meets all modern requirements and provides for in-depth inspection of hand luggage and cargo using Computer Tomography technology.
