Azerbaijan sparks potential alliance with Chinese electrical engineering firm TBEA
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy is contemplating the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Chinese electrical engineering company TBEA.
Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov noted on the X platform that during his visit to Beijing, he held talks with TBEA Chairman Zhang Xing, Caliber.Az reports.

"We discussed opportunities for cooperation in various fields, including the production of equipment for renewable energy, technology supply, and projects aimed at developing regional infrastructure in the sphere of green energy," Shahbazov stated.
This potential partnership highlights Azerbaijan's commitment to enhancing its green energy initiatives and fostering international collaborations.
"Furthermore, we explored the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding," he added.
Notably, Parviz Shahbazov has arrived in China at the invitation of Zhang Jianhua, head of the National Energy Administration of China. He is set to participate in the 3rd Belt and Road Energy Ministers Conference, taking place in Qingdao, Shandong Province, on October 23-24.
Under the theme "Bringing Innovation for a Shared Energy Future," the conference will focus on energy security, market development, the latest technological advancements in the green energy sector, and financial opportunities to promote green initiatives.
Shahbazov will address the opening ceremony and speak at a forum on enhancing cooperation for diversified energy supply. Additionally, during his visit, the minister plans to hold bilateral meetings with leaders of Chinese companies in Beijing.
