Azerbaijan, Tajikistan discuss expansion of economic, energy ties
Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov has met with Tajikistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Usmonali Usmonzoda to discuss the successful development of strategic partnership between the two countries and highlighted the important role of the heads of state in this process, Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers has stated.
During the meeting, the sides focused particularly on expanding trade and economic cooperation, encouraging mutual investment, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The officials exchanged views on cooperation in transport and transit and energy sectors, as well as the development of humanitarian ties.
They highlighted the importance of the 8th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, which will be held in Baku on Tuesday.
