Azerbaijan, Türkiye mark strong relations with personal greetings
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov and Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz have exchanged heartfelt letters, strengthening the bond between the two nations.
The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers reported that Prime Minister Asadov extended his warm congratulations to Vice President Yılmaz on his birthday, expressing sincere wishes for his continued success, Caliber.Az reports.
In his letter, Asadov acknowledged Yılmaz’s reputation in Azerbaijan as a reliable friend and dedicated politician who has played a pivotal role in advancing the strong relations between the two countries. He emphasized the high regard Azerbaijan holds for the strategic partnership and alliance with Türkiye, reaffirming his commitment to further strengthening these ties and expanding cooperation.
Prime Minister Asadov also took the opportunity to wish Yılmaz and the people of Türkiye well for the Ramadan holiday, extending hopes for health, happiness, peace, and prosperity.
In his response, Vice President Yılmaz thanked Asadov for his thoughtful congratulations and expressed his gratitude for the strong ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye. Yılmaz highlighted the recent visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Türkiye and the inauguration of the Iğdır-Nakhchivan gas pipeline as a clear demonstration of the robust cooperation between the two nations. He also noted that such frequent visits and diplomatic engagements reflect the exceptional brotherly spirit shared by the two countries.
Further, Yılmaz conveyed his support for Azerbaijan's efforts in the reconstruction of the liberated territories, emphasizing continued solidarity between the nations.
Vice President Yılmaz also extended his congratulations to Asadov and the Azerbaijani people on the occasion of Ramadan, wishing them good health, peace, and prosperity.
