Distinguished Observer Day held within framework of Doğu Akdeniz-2023 exercise VIDEO

Distinguished Observer Day was held today within the framework of Doğu Akdeniz-2023 international exercises in Türkiye.

Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az that along with the Commander of the Navy of the Republic of Türkiye Navy Admiral Ercument Tatlioglu, the event was attended by representatives of the Azerbaijani Navy and other friendly countries. The guests observed the fulfillment of tasks on a number of episodes. In particular, the tasks on the evacuation of citizens, including the wounded, from the shore to the TCG Anadolu ship after the earthquake were successfully performed.

Then the servicemen, having descended from helicopters on board the ship, raised the flags of Azerbaijan and Türkiye here. The course of the international exercise, in which a group of special forces of the Azerbaijani Navy also took part, was highly appreciated by observers.
