President Erdogan alleges global opposition to Türkiye's actions VIDEO
During a rally in Bursa, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan voiced his concerns over consistent opposition from the global alliance to Türkiye's endeavours, citing various regions where Türkiye has been involved.
Erdogan's remarks, reported by TRT Haber, shed light on his view of Western interference and provocations aimed at destabilizing Türkiye and the broader region.
Erdogan expressed frustration, stating, "no matter what steps we took in Karabakh, we faced opposition from the global alliance." He attributed this resistance to certain Western forces that, according to him, have long sought to undermine Türkiye's stability.
The Turkish President drew parallels with recent events in Gaza, emphasizing the blind eye turned towards the plight of Muslims there. Erdogan warned that those indifferent to the suffering in Gaza today could similarly overlook any adversity faced by Türkiye in the future.
Reflecting on past challenges, Erdogan highlighted instances where he felt Western support was lacking. He recalled a period of tension with Russia and the threat posed by terrorist organizations at Türkiye's borders, alleging that Western states withdrew their air defence systems from southern Turkish cities during this time. Erdogan credited Türkiye's resilience and perseverance for overcoming these challenges without external assistance.
Erdogan's comments underscore the ongoing geopolitical tensions surrounding Türkiye's involvement in various conflicts, including Syria, Libya, the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea, and the recent conflict in Karabakh. He reiterated his belief that Türkiye has faced opposition from the global alliance at every turn, despite its efforts to navigate complex regional dynamics.
“We overcame difficulties with our own strength and struggle. No matter what steps we took in Syria, Libya, the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea, Karabakh, we faced opposition from the global alliance,” the head of state noted
