Turkish military "neutralizes" 14 PKK/YPG terrorists in northern Iraq
Türkiye has "neutralized" 14 members of the PKK/YPG terrorist organization in northern Iraq, the National Defence Ministry said.
The terrorists were targeted in operations within the Euphrates Shield and Peace Spring zones in northern Syria, the ministry made a post on its X account, Caliber.Az reports.

Turkish authorities use the term "neutralize" to indicate that the terrorists were either killed, captured, or surrendered.
These operations followed a PKK terror attack on Wednesday at the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) headquarters in Ankara, which resulted in five deaths and 22 injuries.
The PKK, designated as a terrorist organization by Türkiye, the US, and the EU, has conducted a 40-year terror campaign that has claimed over 40,000 lives, including those of women, children, infants, and the elderly.
PKK terrorists frequently take refuge in northern Iraq to plan cross-border attacks against Türkiye.
