Türkiye continues to work on unmanned attack helicopter VIDEO
Türkiye's first unmanned attack helicopter is scheduled to be unveiled in the near future.
TUSAŞ Helicopter Deputy Director General Mehmet Demiroglu said this, TRT Haber reports.
"Yes, we are currently working on unmanned helicopters. We are doing this with the TUSAŞ unmanned aerial vehicle group. Because they know the problem of 'drones' very well. And we're pretty good at making helicopters. At the moment, these two forces, these two experiences have come together. We will make our first work from the finished helicopter. First there will be test flights, and then we will start from scratch and develop our own platforms into several families. In a few months we will see the drone fly," Demiroglou noted.
The "unmanned attack helicopter" mentioned by Mehmet Demiroglu could be the T629. It is believed that the T629 unmanned electric attack helicopter will be especially useful for the Turkish Navy command.
