Türkiye, Indonesia sign military cooperation agreement in Ankara
Türkiye and Indonesia have signed a "Plan for the Implementation of Military Cooperation".
"We believe that the Military Cooperation Implementation Plan we signed today will make a significant contribution to the peace, security, and stability of both our regions and the world," National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said, Caliber.Az reports.
Earlier, Türkiye signed a major package of defence contracts with Indonesia, including:
▪️ Combat Control Systems for Corvettes (SYS).
▪️ KHAN ballistic missiles (an export version of the BORA ballistic missile).
▪️ HISAR-O and HISAR-U SAMs.
▪️ Two missile boats.
▪️ Anti-ship ATMACA missiles.
▪️ Anti-drone systems.
ROKETSAN will also develop multi-level air defence systems for Indonesia - TriSula.
In addition, Türkiye has begun deliveries of Kaplan MT medium tanks produced for the Indonesian Armed Forces.
