Armenian premier interrogated as witness in treason case
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has been interrogated as a witness in a criminal case initiated on the grounds of high treason.
Caliber.Az reports quoting Aysor.am that the chairman of the Investigative Committee of Armenia Argishti Kyaramyan disclosed the information while speaking in the parliament today.
"The prime minister was questioned as a witness," said Kyaramyan.
Pashinyan announced back on April 18 that he had been questioned in the case, but did not specify in what status.
Earlier it was reported that the prime minister will appear before the commission to investigate the causes and circumstances of the 44-day war.
The commission was set up in February 2022, at the initiative of the ruling majority (the Civil Contract faction).
