Azerbaijan unveils voting results for snap presidential elections Latest CEC figures/UPDATED

Azerbaijan's Central Election Commission (CEC) has unveiled the next results of voting in the snap presidential election.

Caliber.Az reports that the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan has published voting results based on the data received from 93.35 per cent of polling stations.

CEC chairman Mazahir Panahov said at a press conference that the votes were distributed as follows:

1. Ilham Aliyev, presidential candidate from the ruling New Azerbaijan Party - 92.05 per cent
2. Zahid Oruj, a self-nominated candidate - 2.19 per cent.
3. Fazil Mustafa, presidential candidate from the Great Order Party - 2 per cent 2.
4. Gudrat Hasanguliyev, presidential candidate from the Whole Azerbaijan Popular Front Party - 1.76 per cent.
5. Razi Nurullayev, presidential candidate from the National Front Party - 0.8 per cent 6.
6. Elshad Musayev, presidential candidate from the Great Azerbaijan Party - 0.67 per cent 6.
7. Fuad Aliyev, self-nominated - 0.53 per cent.

76.73 per cent of voters or 4,971,032 people took part in the elections.

The Azerbaijani Central Election Commission has unveiled the primary voting results for the snap presidential elections. The polling stations across the country closed at 19.00 (GMT+4).

As of 19.00 (GMT+4), 4 million 971,032 people took part in the elections, which amounted to 76.73 per cent of the total number of voters. The votes are currently distributed as follows:

  1. Ilham Aliyev, presidential candidate from the ruling New Azerbaijan Party - 92.1 per cent
  2. Zahid Oruj, self-nominated - 2.2 per cent
  3. Fazil Mustafa, presidential candidate from the Great Order Party - 1.99 per cent.
  4. Gudrat Hasanguliyev, presidential candidate from the Whole Azerbaijan Popular Front Party - 1.78 per cent
  5. Razi Nurullayev, presidential candidate from the National Front Party - 0.79 per cent
  6. Elshad Musayev, a presidential candidate from the Great Azerbaijan Party - 0.66 per cent
  7. Fuad Aliyev, self-nominated - 0.48 per cent

Some 6,524,203 citizens are entitled to vote.
