Main stage of Anatolian Eagle-2023 international drills kicks off in Türkiye PHOTO/VIDEO

The main stage of the international flight and tactical exercise "Anatolian Eagle-2023" has kicked off in the Turkish city of Konya.

In the initial stage of the exercise, safety rules during flights and assigned tasks were explained in accordance with the outlined plan, the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry told Caliber.Az.

During the drills, suppressed the air defences of a conditional enemy. After securing air superiority, air assets, together with combat aircraft, carried out missions to destroy enemy ground targets by entering their airspace and combat manoeuvres at a high altitude.

The tasks set on the first day of the exercise were successfully accomplished by the pilots.
