Shusha welcomes another group of displaced persons
Shusha City in Azerbaijan continues to witness the return of its original inhabitants as another group of migrants made their way back home on May 14 morning.
Some 38 families comprising 136 residents from the Garadagh district of Baku city have returned to Shusha, marking another significant step in the ongoing return efforts, according to Azertag.
These families had previously been temporarily settled in various locations across the country, including hostels, sanatoriums, former pioneer camps, and administrative buildings.
The families arriving in Shusha were warmly welcomed and experienced the joy of being reunited with their native land. This latest influx brings the total number of permanently resettled families in Shusha to 58, totalling 224 people.
