"Armenians' goal is to destroy historical memory, heritage of Azerbaijani people"
    Kazakh pundit shares his memories

The separatists in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh represented by Harutyunyan, Vardanyan and others will not settle down. They are still dreaming of some miracle that will allow them to delay the inevitable end of their stay on Azerbaijani soil. And the other day they even hastily organised a kind of rally in the centre of Azerbaijan's Khankandi.

During the gathering, they cried wolf over the so-called “blockade” and “wicked Turks-Azerbaijanis” once again.

There were also calls to move in a column to the Azerbaijani checkpoint on the Lachin road, but the number of volunteers dwindled at this. Overall, it wasn’t much of a rally but still a "rally".

It is not clear why they wasted their time and strained their vocal cords because the UN International Court of Justice rejected Armenia's appeal demanding the abolition of the Azerbaijani checkpoint

But the rat separatist fiddling continues: the fake head of the unidentified entity Harutyunyan sent letters to the heads of the UN Security Council member states, international organisations, as well as to Prime Minister Pashinyan demanding "to take urgent and effective steps to end the illegal and total blockade". Similarly, Vardanyan, the demoted “prime minister” of the same piece of land where Baku allowed Armenians to live solely for humanitarian reasons, once again proved that Armenian separatists are a gang of political thugs, where everyone fights not for the better life of the Armenian population of Karabakh, but solely for their self-interest.

Vardanyan even expressed dissatisfaction with the rally, because the main issue, in his opinion, was not raised - that Prime Minister Pashinyan, who first recognised the defeat in the war and then recognised Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan, is to blame for all of Armenia's troubles.

Kazakh pundit and international lawyer Ruslan Tusupbekov spoke to Caliber.Az on this topic and stated that the installation of a checkpoint on the Lachin road is definitely and unambiguously the sovereign right of Azerbaijan.

"This checkpoint is on the territory of Azerbaijan, and as we know, its tasks include the functions of controlling and preventing the smuggling of weapons and militants themselves into Karabakh. It is clear that everything that is happening now in Karabakh, including some rallies and homegrown statements, is done by the hands of Armenian separatists and Yerevan. In general, this is a directed provocation against the sovereignty of Azerbaijan.

It seems to me that there are two ways out of this situation: to wait for Russian peacekeepers which certainly aid these provocations, to leave Karabakh, or to clean up and restore order right now," the pundit believes.

In this regard, Tusupbekov recalled that almost in the same summer time a year ago, when he visited Shusha as a member of the Kazakh delegation at the invitation of the Azerbaijani side, the Z signs installed at the Russian checkpoint on the road to Khankandi made a very strong negative impression on everyone.

"This liberty of the Russians shocked me a lot," the expert noted.

Meanwhile, according to the international lawyer, it is necessary to somehow stop this flow of lies and provocations from the Armenian side.

If we think about what these endless provocations, destabilisation of the situation, armed antics and mined roads in Karabakh by separatists are needed for, the Kazakh pundit is sure that neither separatists nor Yerevan have any clear goal.

"For thirty years, the unrecognised entity, as well as Armenia itself, had no strategy in principle. A year ago, we visited Karabakh and saw for ourselves how disfigured and contaminated with mines the Azerbaijani land was. They just stupidly mined the territories, they did not even have the resources to develop this region, and most importantly, they did not even want to.

They are such ‘terminators’, whose task is simply to destroy the memory and heritage of another nation - cemeteries, mosques, museums, houses, any memory. And against this backdrop, we see how the airport in Fuzuli was built in an inconceivably short forty years, cleared of those very mines for the sake of prosperity and the creation of new life.

And my videos in TikTok about the miracle of Fuzuli airport were watched with delight by thousands of Kazakhs - the views went over a hundred thousand. Armenia and separatists have no prospects in Karabakh, and the Armenians themselves understand this, but they do not leave their attempts to make life impossible for all those who will come here to start a new, decent life," Tusupbekov summarised.
