War for Azerbaijani gold in Karabakh General Oganovsky threatens to assassinate Vardanyan
For the fourth day now, the protest rallies of representatives of the Azerbaijani public on the Shusha-Khankendi road against the premeditated looting of the natural resources of Azerbaijan by Karabakh separatists' leadership in the zone of temporary responsibility of Russian peacekeepers have been going on. In the meantime, a real war began in the camp of the separatist underdogs for Azerbaijani gold, illegally mined in Karabakh.
Thus, in the Republic of Armenia Telegram channel close to Pashinyan, a post by blogger Edvin Martirosyan was published stating that war for Azerbaijani gold had begun between General Samvel Karapetyan (Oganovsky) and self-designed “state minister” in Karabakh Ruben Vardanyan.
“Our sources report that Ruben Vardanyan quarrelled with General Samvel Oganovsky. Terrifying details are being revealed that Oganovsky and Ashot Galyan's brother have secret warehouses and workshops in Karabakh where gold and other precious metals are stored. All this comes from local mines and ends up in the pockets of Oganovsky and Robert Kocharyan, who in March 2008 organized pogroms on the streets of Yerevan,” writes Martirosyan.
He further wrote that according to information from separatist leader Arayik Harutyunyan's entourage, the latter is trying to calm down Oganovsky, who threatened to kill Ruben Vardanyan because he is trying to completely “squeeze” this business from the “Karabakh clan”.
“Yesterday, information was circulated that Ruben Vardanyan's sister advised him to urgently leave Karabakh, so as not to become a victim of Oganovsky and Kocharyan. There is information that Ruben Vardanyan will resign in the coming days,” Martirosyan wrote.
