Azerbaijan in the crosshairs of French-Armenian duo Paris pulls the trigger

15 May 2023 10:47

The fact of destruction by the Azerbaijani Army of the Armenian attack&reconnaissance UAV control centre on the notional Armenian-Azerbaijani border grows more and more detailed. Caliber.Az obtained the footage of the strike on the object, which reveals quite interesting nuances.

First, it appears that a civilian vehicle was used by Armenia as the control centre for the UAV. The person next to it is dressed in civilian clothes. We remember from the 44-day war that the use of civilian objects for purely military purposes is widespread in the Armenian army. Suffice it to recall, for example, the famous meeting of separatists led by Araik Harutyunyan in a kindergarten, as well as the transportation of personnel and weapons via ambulances. The video footage we cited is yet another example of such criminal behaviour by the Armenian side.

The following detail is of the greatest interest: look closely at the people in the video, or rather at what distinguishes them, namely their behaviour. Two Armenian soldiers in uniform run away in a panic (one of them drops a red object in his hands), while a man in a black jacket, before getting up and running, crawls away from the damaged car for several meters. Such a reaction betrays nothing less than a high level of professional training by NATO standards. We have information that confirms this suspicion: we are talking about a French military instructor who trains the Armenian military in operating reconnaissance&attack UAVs.

We also have information that such instructors trained according to NATO standards are not an isolated case, similar signals have been received from other parts of the conditional border.

As Caliber.Az reported earlier, France has decided to appoint a new military attaché to its embassy in Armenia. The French military attache will oversee the delivery of French lethal weapons to Armenia, while French President Emmanuel Macron personally supported Paris' military and political decision to send lethal weapons to Armenia. Together with this information, there is already every reason to believe that France, trying to gain a foothold in our region, has started a proxy war against Azerbaijan, which it sees as a natural obstacle to its infiltration into the South Caucasus.

It should be noted that the said vehicle controlled the UAV that caused the death of Azerbaijani soldier Orkhan Novruzalizade on May 11. Thus, earlier Paris only indulged in Armenian aggression and during the 44-day war provided indirect help to the Armenian party (for example, transferring of intelligence). After the war, it showed political and diplomatic support not only to Armenia as such, but also to the disappeared separatist regime in Karabakh (we should remind that the Senate passed the resolution about recognition of non-existent formation). Now it directly stains its hands with the blood of Azerbaijani soldier. Yes, it was not Paris that pulled the trigger, but it was there to give a signal to fire.

France used arms against Azerbaijan two days before the talks between the heads of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Brussels. And this country still wants to mediate!

Instead of dreaming of entering the distant Caucasus, Paris should think about its image in the European Union. We will give Brussels all the evidence of unconcealed animosity towards Azerbaijan, a country that is defending its sovereignty. Nothing vile, no falsifications, just facts.

As we have already written, the outraged ego of the geopolitical loser Macron seems to see the South Caucasus as easy prey. It should be noted, however, that France's geopolitical stature has been falling inexorably since the 1940s. But if with the endeavors of such leaders as De Gaulle, Giscard d'Estaing, Mitterrand, Chirac, Sarkozy and even Hollande France at least managed to maintain the appearance of its geopolitical power, the hysterically energetic policy of Macron axes their efforts.

Whatever Macron does, all his initiatives go up in smoke. The overambitious stunt with the submarine project for Australia ended with a loud slap on the ground to the Homeric laughter of the Anglo-Saxon ensemble. The tandem with Germany in the EU is far from idyllic; by the way, the project for a joint fifth-generation fighter jet is buried deep in the ground by the Germans in favour of the US version. Poland and the Baltic states, generally a US fifth column and in the long term an alternative pole of power in Europe, openly show their irritation with French arrogance. This is not enough, France is failing even in the area of its traditional presence - for example, in Mali and Burkina Faso. The anti-colonial sentiment is growing in French Polynesia and even in Corsica. Social contradictions within France are becoming more acute.

Macron is not having much luck. I wonder why the French president thought that against this background he would gain a foothold in the Caucasus - the most difficult region, where France has no traditions of political co-existence. Well, or almost none. I remember that Dumas Senior stopped by. There is evidence that the Khan's daughter Natavan played a game of chess with him.

Or maybe the good-natured writer lost and Paris wants revenge? À la guerre comme à la guerre? Pourquoi pas?
