Illusions of Karabakh separatists Everybody out!
Karabakh separatists don't seem to realize yet that the territories they inhabit will return under Baku's administrative control very soon. Then, the "quiet separatist happiness" will pass into oblivion, so they must urgently set their minds to realizing the real situation and establish a dialogue with the Azerbaijanis. Unfortunately, they fail in it so far - well, the Armenian fans of snatching someone else's land and declaring it theirs, and even the ancient one, don't get to understand that everything is hopeless for them, they never had and never will have "their own territory" in Karabakh. Therefore, yesterday's meeting of the "deputies" of the fake "national assembly" with the leadership of the Russian peacekeepers to agree on some security guarantees did not bring them much comfort. The peacekeepers said there would be no Azerbaijani checkpoint on the Lachin road, but it is clear to everyone that the Azerbaijani side has the last word.
When will the "leadership" of the separatists, a mock "government with its ministers and even the parliament" finally realize the bitter truth that soon it will be the day when the Azerbaijani authorities will disband all these shady assemblies and will not even ask for their consent. Ruben Vardanyan is making plans and nurturing political strategies in vain - all this will soon die out.
Yesterday's attempt of the so-called "deputies" to negotiate with the command of the RPC about guarantees of the absence of Azerbaijani soldiers at the checkpoint on Lachin road looked extremely senseless.
According to Armenian media, "the heads of the parliamentary factions" met the commander of Russian peacekeeping forces, where they discussed "the subject of the blocking of the road near Shusha by Azerbaijanis on December 3". However, the range of discussed issues was broader.
Some Armenian journalists have the nerve to say even more: they say "parliamentarians expressed their concern about the issue of prevention of such provocations and settlement of the situation".
Moreover, some "parliamentarians", judging by this publication, voiced particularly provocative statements.
"There cannot be a single checkpoint in the corridor, which must be controlled by Azerbaijanis in addition to the Russian peacekeepers. We said that this is unacceptable, and the commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces assured us that there is nothing like that," a certain Artur Harutyunyan stated.
In particular, this separatist rabble from the fake parliament says that the Azerbaijani side is trying to justify the necessity of installing a checkpoint by saying that "weapons are allegedly transported through this corridor". And this argument, according to the separatists, is unacceptable and unfounded.
Of course, we have to admire the insolence of the "deputies" who still think that no one has the right to interfere with their cloudless happiness - to rob the Azerbaijani natural resources and to transport weapons to Karabakh by the road built by Azerbaijanis. But they somehow don't think about the fact that for such statements, and especially for the attempts to push their "wishes" with the help of Russian peacekeepers, Azerbaijan can tomorrow kick all the separatist "parliamentarians" out of Karabakh. You are nobody here! Now, sitting in your cozy offices, you think that your life is successful and you will be cherished by the Yerevan authorities and Ruben Vardanyan, the Moscow "envoy", just like before. And you can talk all sorts of nonsense and make sweeping accusations.
But when one fine morning all the separatists ragtag called "the government and the parliament of Artsakh" will be driven out in the cold by the Azerbaijani commandos, showing the way to Yerevan - the minds of impostors will most likely be filled with more objective and positive thoughts. So enough fooling around, the Azerbaijani side is closely monitoring the number of weapons and ammunition that are illegally entering the Karabakh zone of responsibility, and the commander of the RPC, General Volkov, is informed about it. There is evidence, everything is written down - so when Azerbaijan accuses somebody of something, it means that they have all the proof about it. General Volkov himself knows very well that the Azerbaijani side has evidence of his sins as well as evidence of the fact that the command of the RPC allows the transportation of cargo through the Lachin railway that Azerbaijan categorically forbids. Those who don't understand it will be punished to the fullest extent of the law. By the way, the other day, for the edification of all those who do not understand: the statement of the Azerbaijani leadership was voiced at a press conference after the meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov by the head of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Jeyhun Bayramov. According to the Azerbaijani minister, the use of the Lachin corridor for non-humanitarian purposes is prohibited. Still, the Armenian side continues to violate the terms of the trilateral statement misusing the Lachin corridor".
Armenian impudence is shocking: the Armenian media reports that the "parliamentarians" presented a unified point of view, in particular on the inadmissibility of any restrictions or innovations in the corridor, contrary to the trilateral statement of November 9, 2020. That is the scale of lies and deceit - while the Armenian side and the separatists are violating the terms of the trilateral statement on the misuse of the Lachin road, carrying weapons and ammunition, they manage to demand and block the very idea of opening the Azerbaijani checkpoint, referring to the same terms of the trilateral statement. The separatist rabble that has settled down in the RPC zone of responsibility definitely deserves an impressive kick in the pants.
Here is a question for General Volkov. Why does the commander actually receive separatist MPs and conducts any negotiations with them? What right does he have to do this without the consent of the Azerbaijani side? The general apparently forgot that Baku does not recognize any separatist "leadership" or "parliament" in the zone of responsibility of the Russian peacekeepers, and he is practically questioning the position of the host country. Moreover, Volkov gives out promises and guarantees, such as the "absence" of the Azerbaijani military at the checkpoint on the Lachin road. What is the commander of the RPC thinking, practicing such a thing?
It all looks very irresponsible - the Russian military as if they do not understand where their authority ends and where the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan begin. By the way, it looks even more provocative against the background of the trickery of Russian peacekeepers today: they barred the way for Baku journalists to the Azerbaijani town of Khojaly. It seems that Russian peacekeepers really think that it is only "their land", where only "their rules" work.
Apparently, official Baku should send an inspection of the Prosecutor General's Office and the Interior Ministry to those places. There seems to be a huge backlog of work to be done here.
