Shadow cast over UN assembly Armeniancy on the lookout for a dark power

15 August 2023 16:10

The global Armeniancy has moved into the active stage... Yet the question remains, of what? Armenians themselves feel that they are now experiencing a critical moment in their nation’s revival after the humiliating defeat in the fall of 2020. Why is that? Have the Armenian regiments, led by the stinking spirits of Andranik and Monte, crossed the conditional border, or are threatening Shusha? Or have they maybe escaped to the operational expanse of the banks of the Kura river?

No. Things are much more epic. Armenia has appealed to the UN Security Council with a request to summon an emergency assembly “due to the blockade of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan and the resulting deterioration of the humanitarian situation”. The meeting will be held tomorrow. This act was preceded by massive diplomatic and political preparations on the ground. First, the trucks were sent, so that the whole fabricated tragedy of the alleged blockade and the supposed famine of the Armenians of Karabakh could be further highlighted against their background. Simultaneously, they poured money out to buy sympathetic tweets...

This was, in fact, to be expected. The Armenian society continues to be the captive of an illusion and still pins their hopes on a miracle that will save their “miatsum” cause, and therefore it will not forgive Pashinyan for making peace with Azerbaijan. The situation is being aggravated by the forthcoming elections for the mayor of Yerevan. Given that half of the country’s population lives in the Armenian capital, Pashinyan’s party must win in order to strengthen its position before the next parliamentary elections. All these factors force the prime minister to irreversibly disrupt the peace process.

Thus, in addition to appealing to the UN Security Council, Ambassador-at-large Edmond Marukyan practically abandoned all the achievements of the two-and-a-half-year negotiations, stating that Armenia had not signed any documents after November 10, 2020, which means that all statements are political. “There are no other documents signed with Azerbaijan that would create obligations for Armenia. As for the statements on the recognition of the territories, these are just political statements”, says Marukyan. Let’s remember, that this is what former Foreign Minister, Vardan Oskanian advised to do. It seems that while the embarrassing pensioner of Armenian diplomacy was not allowed to the negotiation table, his words were being considered.

Yerevan has stalled the process amidst the elections and hopes that Baku will not decide on a special operation against the Armenian forces in Karabakh before the UN Security Council meeting.

There has already been a lot of speculation among the Azerbaijani media, wondering in which scenario the events of the Security Council session might unfold. I would like to touch upon the psychological aspect of the massive anti-Azerbaijani propaganda campaign in the West.

On the one hand, it is clear that everything is, to a certain extent, tied to money and basic bribes. In particular in the case with Ocampo this is more than obvious. All things being equal, the contours and deeper ties of the Armenians with the Greater West are starting to show.

The fact is that in the collective unconscious West, made up of Europeans and Americans there are two components that connect it with Armenians: Christian solidarity and pagan pride, or rather, the bizarre mixture of these two traits.

In many ways, Christianity in the West has lost its moral dimension, becoming a pure cultural marker of European centrism. Even more, European civilization in its present form is not so much a product of Christianity but the result of the struggle against it. The image of the Turk at the gates of Vienna ceased to be a religious archetype, and became the image of the threat of “barbarism” of civilization. The modern Western man is a hybrid, in whose eyes all non-Christian people are a priori less cultured and educated; and that’s where pagan pride comes in. There are actually no concept of “cultures” and “civilization” in Christianity in the form in which they are understood today. The central concept in Christianity is humility, which, to a certain extent is an antagonist of civility because it always bears the mark of pride. Yet pride, as we remember, is a mortal sin. The notorious Western culture is a product of the Renaissance and Modern Times, for the development of which the Greek pagan tradition is more responsible than Christianity.

The Armenian propaganda uses this division of Western consciousness. The hysterical individual Sarkis Tsatsuryan (the one who guaranteed that the Azerbaijanis would lose during the 44-day war because they are a nation of merchants) resurfaced into the public’s view with his book “Armenian Dream”. Its preface contains so much Nazi crap that any decent person would be ashamed to quote him. So tell me, what can one expect from a man who says something like this: “[..] Armenians had an ideology before 387, but it was later lost?” How can you deal with people who still have the year 387 on their minds? “This book belongs to the Armenians and those people who will help the Armenians to revive the Ararat kingdom,” - proclaims the new Armenian Nzhdeh-ist. That is, again hoping for help from outside. Help for those who hate Turks and Muslims with each fibre of their bodies because they “don’t have any Nobel laureates”. Please also pay attention to the name of the cherished dream: it is not “Great Armenia” but “Ararat kingdom”. Such a move is designed to awaken the Western audience reminiscence with a biblical plot, according to which Noah’s ark landed exactly on the mountain “Ararat” (Mount Aghri) when the Armenians were not even there.

The Armenian nation is fully confident that its services to humanity presuppose the creation of conditions for creating some unprecedented preferences at the expense of “savages”. A very striking example is the recent clip of the Armenian agitprop in which imaginary defense ministers (it seems like diplomats have, apparently, left for the frontlines) of Armenia and Azerbaijan are negotiating. So, one of the arguments used to justify Karabakh belonging to Armenia the following is used: “You, Azerbaijanis, do not have any prominent figures in science and culture, but WE...” and starts listing Khachaturyans and other figures, suitable for parading.
I am not going to start denying the Armenians' service to humanity. Moreover, I would suggest that they are not only essential but also so great that they literally cause the Earth to spin. So, let’s assume that the Armenians are the most talented, brilliant, creative, humane and compassionate people in the world.

Who cares? (apologies for the vulgarity)...

We have heard before of this premise of the best being deserving of the best place on earth, haven’t we? And not so long ago. It happened in the heart of Europe in the 1930s and 1940s, when a German nation, though not as talented as the Armenians but nonetheless, produced a huge number of geniuses and decided that its cultural level gave it the right to develop its “Lebensraum” (living space) at the expense of the lands and even the lives of other nations.

If one was to follow this logic, then inter-state borders should be in a floating state - depending on who is more cultured at the moment. The Germans would win the Oscar award for their film, and the French would immediately give them Alsace and Lorraine; but then late the world would witness a Pasteur 2.0, and the Germans, who already spread their high-tech grub throughout the region, would again get out of these areas. Then the presence of the ones such as Che Guevara, Maradona and Borges with Cortazar would generally give the Argentinians the right to dump all other “useless” Chileans into the Pacific...

It seemed that everyone in 1945 was clearly told that this is not the way to think and act. It was after the victory over Nazism that modern international law was born, respecting the borders of states, and accordingly, no country in the world has ever challenged the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan during the years of Armenia’s occupation of Karabakh. But the Nazi contagion must not have been uprooted, and it continues to feed not only the masses of people in the West, but also individual officials. It is no surprise to us that Armenian ideology is inextricably linked to Nazism. It’s amazing how easily Europeans are empathizing with this idea.

Tiny Armenia casts a huge shadow of Nazism on the West and tomorrow we will see if that shadow is in fact ready to materialize into blood and flesh.
