Azerbaijani, Turkish interior ministers determined to strengthen bilateral ties PHOTO

Interior ministers of Azerbaijan and Türkiye discussed the expansion of bilateral ties.

A telephone conversation between Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya, his Azerbaijani counterpart Vilayat Eyvazov, and Turkish Gendarmerie Commander Arif Chetin took place on June 22.

"With my esteemed colleague, we shared our views on further strengthening the inextricable ties between our countries,” Minister Yerlikaya wrote on Twitter, per Caliber.Az.

In May, a delegation of the Turkish Interior Ministry arrived in Baku.

The visit took place within the framework of security cooperation between the two countries.

Members of the delegation met with the Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Cahit Bagci.
