Community of Western Azerbaijan holds meeting with Nuvadi residents

As part of the events to mark the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev, the Community of Western Azerbaijan held a meeting with residents of Nuvadi village, Western Zangazur.

The head of the community's apparatus Galib Gasimov delivered an opening speech, Report informs.

The head of the supervisory board of the community, the head of the community of Meghri District, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, Academician of ANAS Prof. Fikrat Aliyev also spoke at the event. According to him, Heydar Aliyev always treated the residents of Nuvadi village with special care and attention.

The national leader praised the resistance and the will of Nuvadi residents displayed in 1987-1991, he said.

The event was also attended by the head of the BSU department Musa Musayev, the editor-in-chief of the Yeni Azarbaycan newspaper, Algish Musayev, and the head of the BSU department, Prof Goshgar Aliyev.
