Azerbaijan finalizes host country agreement for COP29

The government of Azerbaijan and the Secretariat of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change have reached full consent on the final text of the Host Country Agreement for COP29.

This announcement was made by Samir Nuriyev, Head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration and Chairman of the COP29 Organising Committee, at the sixth meeting, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Nuriyev emphasized that the agreement process ensured full inclusiveness, particularly regarding invitations to all parties of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change for the upcoming Leaders' Summit, scheduled for November 12-13.
